This books was very amazing. I felt like I learned so much about places I didn't even realize existed. I very much identified with the wanderlust of Rita, but I also recognized how very different she is. While I want to travel and see things and experience things, I have very little interest in people and connecting with them. And while I admire her pure trust in others, I know it is something that can't be learned and I have unfortunately been reared in a society that has taught me to trust no one. If I ever become a wanderer, I will have to follow my own path for my own reasons and I believe in a way Rita's book has helped solidify that for me and I plan on reading more from her because the best thing about the stories in the book is that they were all real and true accounts by one very fascinating individual.
