it was amazing

This book continues the story of Jenna as she starts school again after her adventure during the summer on a drive to Texas with Mrs. Gladstone. She has now been made Mrs. Gladstone's personal assistant, and uncovers a secret in the company that could ruin them. Along with that, Mrs. Gladstone hires a delinquent boy who is caught trying to steal from the store and puts Jenna in charge of teaching him the ropes. She struggles to deal with the crumbling of the company she loves while learning how to manage an employee whom she dislikes and doesn't trust. This is a great companion novel to Rules of the Road and I was excited to have Jenna's story continued. Between the two books, she has grown a lot as a character and is able to face some serious adult problems. Again, I would recommend it to any teenager with a passion for shoes or who aspires to manage a company of their own someday.
