This book has a very different feel compared to the Psy-Changeling series...more edgier and moodier. As much as I like that sort of atmosphere, I found it hard to get into the story. I was a little more interested in the secondary characters more than the main ones if truth be told. I did get on board with the romance but only towards the end. NS was only scratching the surface of Elena and Raphael's relationship. The twist at the end is great set up to the next book though. Those two will learn and grow more as a couple and it does sound very promising.

Ami Ah, we have different opinion then. I like it edgier and moodier. That is probably why "Blast of Memory" is my 2nd favorite in Psy-C series. I think aside from the mood, there are two things in this book that made it love it more than you are. 1) Manhattan 2) Archangels. Just FYI, this book is also Amazon Editor's Choice for Best Romance in 2009 ^_^

Edna It was just up in the air for me. *shrugs* I think the next book will prove to be better since their whole world and relationship is already established.
