this is an exceptionally good book! i'd loved every page, and every lines kept you in wonder and amazement at the strength of this man's mother. also, in terms of thinking about the relationship between black and jewish people in the early 20th century. overall, a wonderful and thoughtful read. more thoughtful than his writings on hip hop in national geographic...but that's another review. lol!
