Bagger's review
Meet the Austins (Austin Family, Book 1) by Madeleine L'Engle
Probably one of my favorite books of all time, the way the family interacts after the new member is thrust upon them.
One of the interesting things about this book is that the publisher didn't want to publish it because it deals with the death of an adult. I think that is what makes it special, it is written with the amazing style of L'Engle, who wrote the way life is, comedy mixed with drama and sadness, life isn't all a depressing nor is it a humor fest. I think that with Madeleine L'Engle gone, the world of literature seems a little less bright
