Nancy's review
Battle Royale, Vol. 4 by Koushun Takami
In Vol 4 of Battle Royale, many of the students are attempting to defeat the game. Shuuya, Kawada and Noriko are working together to create an alliance of students, while the class's basketball star is using computer technology to try to deactivate the collars. Students die, and we learn about their pasts. Although volume four is quite good, one gets the impression that nothing really new happens. The most interesting part about it is actually a scene where we get to see a bit of Kawada's past.
I have another volume sitting on my shelf, waiting to me read. I'm interested on seeing how things are going to turn out, especially with Kwada's character.
