really liked it

A well written book set before and after WWII in the galleries of Paris. Art dealers and artists must deal with all kinds of devestating events and the hopelessness of saving and recovering businesses, property and art.
I liked the focus on the relationship between father and son, and the brave way the writer skipped over the war itself in narration.
