If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (If You Give...) by Laura Joffe Numeroff
One of my favoritest kid's books of all time. If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to want a glass of milk to go with it. Then he'll want a mirror to see if he has a milk mustache. He'll realize looking in the mirror that he needs a haircut, so he'll ask for some scissors. He'll cut his hair and then want a broom to sweep up. He'll get carried away and mop too. Then he'll get tired and ask you to make him a bed. Then he'll want you to read him a bedtime story. He'll get so excited looking at the pictures in the story, he'll want to draw one of his own, so he'll ask for crayons. When he's done, he'll ask you to hang it on the fridge. Looking at the fridge will remind him he's thirsty, so he'll ask for a glass of milk. And if you give a mouse milk, he's going to want a cookie to go with it.
Yeah, I have it memorized.
Yeah, I have it memorized.
