OK, I'm reading this in my Church class, so we're not that far into it yet. From what we read though, it's turning out to be real good. The story itself is great, but, it's just the way it's written. i guess I just don't like the author's writing style. i know it's the Bible I'm talking about, so, go easy when you start flaming me...
Here's how the review is going to work, everytime we finsish a book in it, I'll post a review on it. This is going to take a while:
Genesis: This book starts out with the big man (God) creating Heaven and Earth. It's a really cool beginning, how many other times can you begin a book with "let there be light?" The other main stories that I remember are Noah's Ark and the story of Joseph. Noah's Ark goes exactly the way it's been told, the world is sinful except for one guy (Noah) and his family. So, God decides to flood the entire world to cleanse it. Noah builds a boat, takes two of every animal on it with his family on board. The other story, ...more
