This is my second book by this author. She is a clever and witty writer. I'm not sure how historically accurate this book might be but it was such a fun read. A boy, living in the middle ages, is accused of killing the suitor of the girl he loves. So he is locked in a crypt with the body. A witch finds him and brings the dead boy to life as a bat and the main character and bat solve who really killed the suitor. It has some really unusual twists and is funny all the way through.
