I’ve enjoyed this series thus far, but I think I would’ve enjoyed this more had I been a mother of a teenage daughter. Milk Glass Moon focuses on the ever-changing relationship between Ave Maria and her daughter as she blossoms from a gangly teenager to a young woman. I appreciated the idiosyncrasies of the mother-daughter relationship, but let’s face it…I only read this to get the low-down on what really happened between Jack and Karen Bell in the previous novel. Shameless, I know, but it was nice and pleasant to be living in the world of Big Stone Gap once again.
