I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about stuff I kind of already knew. I don't feel like this book enlightened me in anyway, but it did frame the tale of the rise of the internet in music culture in a really interesting and easy to read way. It also helps that Greg Kot has similar taste in music as I do. I was especially excited to see he thinks my favorite Bright Eyes song (Road to Joy) is one their best and that Lars Ulrich fully recognizes that everyone thinks he's an asshat for the way he and Metallica acted toward Napster.
