I've read other books by Julia Glass and I have always felt that she does an excellent job of writing from different voices. This book is no different. The sisters are similar but distinct people and you know who's perspective you're reading almost instantly. I did think this book started out a bit slower than her other books. There were a few moments that I worried it was going to be a whole book of sisters not understanding each other and dealing with normal rivalry but there's a twist at a point and the whole book changes. Like her other books, at the end of this book I was sad it ended because I wanted to find out what happens next to everyone involved.
