it was amazing
bookshelves: favorites, cooking
Read in December, 2009

After reading two of Michael Ruhlman's books, I am a devoted fan. He writes in such a way that you feel that you are right in the middle of the action; he gets into the heads of a the people he writes about and you feel their anguish and their joys.

This particular book is about the Culinary Institute of America and the author's personal experiences as he went through the courses there. I previously was mildly interested in cooking, but after reading this book, I have a new-found interest in the art and science of cooking. Michael Ruhlman could probably make any subject interesting.
