bookshelves: realistic-fiction

I'm liking the narrative about Quinn and her sister Sprout discovering that her father stole something important from each of his wives and girlfriends. Her own mother is his second wife.

Quinn calls her half-sister that sh's only recently found out about, and they plan a trip to return all of these stolen objects back to their original owners. At each stop they learn about that woman's relationship with their father.

Interspersed throughout the book are monologues from all the women in his life and it's unclear how they got there. They break up the flow and thus the book is taking a very long time to read.

Caletti is one of my favorite authors and I have been mostly disappointed by this one, but decided to finish it.
