Read in December, 2009

I wasn't sure what to categorize this as. Fiction? Non-fiction? Science fiction? I settled on non-fiction since it's based on the classics, which are historical.
This was a very dense but worthwhile read. It took me a long time to get through the last third or so, when you can feel Hamilton's comparative lack of passion. She's best when retelling epics, or explaining the relative order of things.

Scarlet Tartlet I'd put it in religion as well, since what some call "mythology" was and still is the basis of religious thought and framework for others.
