I wasn't sure what to categorize this as. Fiction? Non-fiction? Science fiction? I settled on non-fiction since it's based on the classics, which are historical.
This was a very dense but worthwhile read. It took me a long time to get through the last third or so, when you can feel Hamilton's comparative lack of passion. She's best when retelling epics, or explaining the relative order of things.
