** spoiler alert ** This book is the story of a boy and a girl that meet in one day walking in opposite directions, but end up going in the same direction because a person inficted by a fast spreading disease, went crazy and was about to throw out an extremely rare and expensive guitar, through the window and they both wanted to save it. They both had unfinished bands, they wanted to complete, and they got together, and starneg things hapen from there.
This book could have been better if they described more about the disease everyone was getting, and what Minvera had to go through when she had the diesase. From this book, I learned information on what the Black Plague was, and how a nursery rythm was supposivly influenced by the Black Plague. I think the author wanted the reader to take away from the book, what a plague or another large diease can do to a society.
