it was ok

I loved the illustrations and the conceit, but the recipes themselves were kind of disappointing and the prose was weirdly preachy. Seriously, if you are preparing a meal for one, you probably don't have 812 different kinds of fresh herbs and peppers on hand. And stop judging my dinner of popcorn and wine.

Marley my dinners alone are ... embarrassing. Both content and dinner hour... I realize I really need to plan ahead if I have someone else over for dinner. they might want something that isn't a pile of food in a bowl. maybe.

Rob Hahahaha. Oh, Geraldine, I can never hope to read as many books as you but I LOVE getting your reviews in my inbox.

Sounds like someone other than Deborah Madison needs to write one of these books. "Dining Alone by Geraldine: Everything You Need to Know We Learned from the Native Americans at Plymouth, Mass."
