Lonely Werewolf Girl is good fun, much needed after Wally Lamb’s The Hour I First Believed. There is lots of action, magic, and plot twists all interlaced with humor supplied by the fire elementals. There are people, werewolf hunters, neurotic teenage werewolves, elementals and traders; quite the vast landscape. There are power feuds offset by fashion feuds.

Really, this book isn’t great, just fun. It’s a wonderful beach read. I give it a strong 3.5.
