really liked it

This one was definitely worth the buck I paid for it. I didn't think the characters were boring or unlikeable. I enjoyed the novel and was involved in the story until the last page. I liked the way the relationship between mother and daughter was developed, and I liked the "assignments" for the fiction class. The only thing I had problems with was the relationship between Arabella and Chuck. I had the feeling that she wasn't entirely convinced that he was the real deal, but that she needed and was willing to accept the physically comforting side of the arrangement. Arabella's conflicting feelings about Chuck made me uneasy. Overall, though, a great read.
