Frank I too love the Hornblower Books as you can see, and think that your review is pretty spot on.

Mike (the Paladin) Thanks. Yes...I sort of struggled with the whole War of 1812 thing (LOL)the War of 1812 means something different in England that here. In England say War of 1812 and they think Napoleon. :) Still, I love the books.
