it was amazing

Short, sweet, and simple. I'm sure the idea of being able to live forever would be very thought-provoking for kids.

For me, though, the thing that struck me the most was the overall feel of the book. Even though I read it over a cold, rainy weekend, the book immediately transported me to a summer day, not as it often feels now as an adult, but that limitless sort of summer day of childhood when the world feels glorious and magical. It was such a warm, peaceful feeling that I didn't want the book to end.
