Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane is the second book that follows Gregor the Overland by Suzan Collins.

Gregor thought that he would never have to return to the Underland since he and his mom had sealed off the gateway in the basement of their apartment, but they had forgotten the one in Central Park.

One day Gregor made the mistake of taking Boots to Central Park to go sledding, when his sister was quickly and misteriously kidnapped by the roaches when Gregor wasn't looking. He was forced to go, try to find, and retrieve his little sister.

What will happen once he finally retrieves boots is one question. What is the next quest, or prophecy (which is obiously the Prophecy of the Bane) that he will have to try to fulfill, and will he ever return to his world in the Overland are questions once again.

It is cool to keep on reading because near the beginning the Prophecy is told like a poem in a very confusing way. You want to keep on reading and reading until you get to the ...more
