Picked this one up at the local library book sale. It's a great story about a woman living in the early ages of "coming out". Back when identifying as a lesbian was illegal and you were beat close to death if you weren't wearing at least three pieces of womens clothing. This book actually made me cry throughout it's lovely pages. She starts as a butch lesbian who then decides to start testosterone shots and have her breasts removed just to "fit" into a mans world and the "early" society. Definitely a book I will read again, just because the experience is captivating.
