Tim is a car salesman; he used to have his own dealership but lost it because he just wasn’t suited to be a manager. He lost his wife as well because she didn’t think he had enough drive to do better job/money wise for the family. Still friends he and the wife share care for the teenaged daughter. When his daughter Sydney fails to come home from her job he begins to search only to find out that no one at the low rent motel where she was supposed to be working had ever heard of her. He reports her to the police but doesn’t feel that they are giving it sufficient attention, so he continues his searching, getting one of Sid’s friends to set up a web site to help in the search. He gets a hit that sends him out to Seattle (Tim lives in Connecticut ) to follow a lead. Meanwhile life for Tim goes down hill as things conspire to have the police looking more and more at him as bodies seem to show up where he has been seen. Maybe a bit slow and simple at the start, as events transpire the mystery gets deeper as it moves towards the end.
