2nd book in the "Harper Hall" trilogy, Menolly is a new apprentice at the Harper Hall, the center of musical knowledge in all of Pern. She arrives injured and impoverished, but with a wealth untold in her musical talent and the friendship of Pern's enchanting, magical creatures, the Fire Lizards. Another wonderful book!
