This was a book I chose to read from a selection of books on a list for my English class. I don't remember it being my first choice (each book could only be read by one person in the class). It was pretty good. All the Chinese mythology and culture put in the book were very interesting. The author alternates between reality and a myth inspired fantasy, which was done very well.
