I loved Anya Seton's book Katherine so I was thrilled when I found another book by her, but it turned out to be a great disappointment. The karma/reincarnation story was too heavy to be in any way plausible even if I had been into that. The heroine was too selfish and self-obsorbed. I never got to know the hero properly and the love story was too elusive to make me feel anything for the characters. I only finished it to find out how the author would tie up the modern story but even that was too predictable and boring. I am sorry I wasted so many hours reading it.

Ellycat39 I am sorry Trine did not see the the amazing story and feel the enlightened experience thousands of others have avowed from reading Green Darkness. This will be one of my all time favorites and I have read it now 3 times and still feel like i have immersed myself within in layers of another world when i am between the pages of this inspired tale.
