it was ok

I wasn't too impressed with this book, which was really about Bernard Fay, Ulla Dydo, and other characters that fringe the edges of Stein and Toklas' lives (or life). It didn't reveal too much about Stein that we didn't already know about - her conservatism, her egocentrism - but it does point to some collaborationist ties that were interesting. If you aren't a diehard Stein addict, skip it.
