really liked it
bookshelves: spy-fi

The book opens with Bond almost dead from tetrodotoxin and his "near death" because they don't think they can save him. But he recovers and gets sent on what is supposed to be an easy assignment to rest. It doesn't work out that way.

This is one of my favorite Bond books but we start to get the extra silly names here for the "Bond Girls" Honeychile Rider, I mean ok, in the movie they called her Honey.

However aside form some of the extra corny parts (even about the villan) it's good, a "page turner" as they say. His forced crawl through..well. that would be a spoiler, but it's good.
