it was ok
bookshelves: disease, suspense-thriller

Anti-climatic. Well written, for the most part. I have definitely read scarier non-fiction shit about these diseases. Just take a look at the beginning chapters of the Coming Plague. *shivers* However, he built up what he had to work with, and he did a good job of creating suspense. It just doesn't pay off. And seriously, why is it so scary when this shit hits America? Hemorrhagic fevers have killed people all over the world, but it's a thriller when it reaches DC, even though it only ever infects monkeys?
