This is the sequel to Bust, which I really enjoyed.
But, it takes the most loathsome character - Max Fisher, self-centred-businessman-turned-drug-dealer - and centres the story around him. There are a few instances where the writers inside jokes (both authors appear as characters along with a reference to the HCC series itself) pulled me right out of the action, and for that reason alone I didn't enjoy it as much. Still decent, but a big step down from Bust.
