This looks more like a preview of the next book. Nick is still angsty and his emotions are unstable. Yes he needs emotional support, he practically shuns people out but so far there's no one stubborn enough to kick his ass and make him see the light. I can understand the way he's feeling, he still has a lot of human in him but it's really fascinating that he's part Dark Hunter and part Daimon. He's in a vulnerable situation right now where he could use real friends. We notice how he waivers sometimes and it's just a matter of time until he realizes he's being manipulated, and there's still the friendship to regain by forgiveness. He's still one of my favorite characters and I hope he'll come to grips soon. I can't wait to read his main story "Infinity" to see him reunited with his friends, and get the angst sucked out of him.
