Amy's review
Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser
I was a bit disappointed in the movie. It was pretty but not very substantial, much like the queen herself, I guess. I wanted a more historical film, rather than just a picture of all the excess and so on. It wasn't bad, but not what I expected. So I decided to pick up the book it was based on. So far, it's a little slow going, and it's a bit difficult to keep track of all the Maries, Marias, Josephas, Jospehines, etc. Especially considering that everyone also has at least one and sometimes several other titles. But it is interesting.
