I leared that growing up in south boston was really hard and their was also alot of killing and fight aganist black and white people. If you are a black person and you walk on the streets of south boston they would beat you until you were dead the same goes if you were white in roxbury they would kill you as well. i also learned that it was hard for the black to go tom school without being a fight or someone drying, and they were a lot of people who had to live on welfare to survive.i also learned that even through micheal grew up in a bad community he did not turn the way a lot of people did he turn wanting to help people to stop the violence and the reason he joint the antiviolence was, because he had been through a lot with a lot of his family members dying and did not want to see any thing like that happen to any of his family member and he does want to happen to anyone else and that way he joint the antiviolence to make a different in his community.
