The play "Medea" is about a woman from an island called col chis and her father ruled that island and he protects the golden fleece. Then theirs a man name Jason who is to become king is sent by his uncle to retrieve the golden fleece so he could get his kingdom back. He gets help from a goddess name Aphrodite. When he got to col chis Medea fell in love with him by the help of Eros Aphrodite's son. When Medea's father found out Jason stole the golden fleece he planned to kill him Medea helped him get the golden fleece so she helped him again by sailing away with him. Jason promised to Medea and the gods that he would stay with her and love her forever. As soon as that happen she did everything and anything for him including killing her own brother. Basically this Medea play is about revenge, conflict, love, and hate. then years passed and Jason met the princess of Corinth and wanted to marry her and they were going to get marry but Medea didn't want Jason to leave her so she took revenge im not gonna tell you how but you have to read it to find out what she did. I rate this play 3 stars or in numbers 8 out of 10 because it was a good play to read I liked a lot it was interesting. I think people into Greek Mythology would like it.
