I got this for my last birthday, and I read about half of it before I got distracted and put it down, and I finally finished it this weekend. It’s a collection of journal entries, poems, song lyrics, and little stories (often a page or two, sometimes as much as 4 or 5) that Amy wrote. It’s a very personal look at her life and the events and people that have shaped it. A lot of it is supposed to come across as inspirational, and while it does that it also gets a little depressing at the same time, hearing about all the friends and family (she has a huge family) that have passed on and all the grief and heartache she’s gone through. But overall it is a very inspiring and thought-provoking book. It gets a little over the top sometimes but it’s Amy so she can get away with it : )
