Well...I managed to get through it! I have to say that the language in this book is beautiful. Having said that however, I think it might have been too well done for me. I found myself looking for the flaw in the diamond. It was a workout.

Some phrases made the work worthwhile. I think my favourite section of the book was the "The Ponds". Favourite line: "I rejoice that there are owls. Let them do the hooting for men."
