Fast pace, thrilling, page turner. Very different than the first book The Alienist where you don't know whoe the killer is. In this book the killer is revealed in the very beginning. Even though the team of detectives knows who she is, they still can't catch her. Great for those that are having a difficult time getting back to reading.





The author has created two books with these six characters and wrote in a way I have never experienced before. Each book is interpreted by a different character. The first book the character John Moore, a journalist. The second book is interpreted by a young apprentice of Dr.Kreizler named Stevie. Another fast pace thriller.

When different characters interpret the story, you get a different perspective of the characters in each book,, it is genius. For example Mr. Moore in the firt book interprets, you get to read his mind and thought about the other characters. The second book Stevie gets to interpret and you learn his perspect...more
