The group Beyond Reality will start reading Ethan of Athos on Sunday, November 15, 2009.

P.S. I've been advised to read the series' forerunners before reading this book. They include:
_Shards of Honour_
_Barrayar_
_The Warrior's Apprentice_

They are on my To-Read Shelf.

Jim Joy, this is in the middle of the Miles Vorkosigan series. You should probably read them in chronological order, if you can. I enjoyed them more that way & liked this book the least of the series.

Start with the Cordelia Naismith novels, which feature Miles' mother.
Shards of Honor (1986)
Barrayar (1991)

Then start in to those featuring Miles with
The Warrior's Apprentice (1986)
There's a timeline in the books from that point on, I think.

Jim, thanks. I'll make note of that.
I've added the following books to my To-Read shelf:
Shards of Honour

The Warrior's Apprentice
