    <body><![CDATA[I think these books were written just for me. Well, people like me. Easily entertained people like me. There were sea monsters and adventures and pirates and Brandon was multi-appendaged in multiple places. How can I not love this? I was generally amused throughout. Although I realized that I have seen many adaptations, but never read the original text. Definitely on my radar for January. <br/><br/>originally: <br/>After an initial skim, I thought this deviated too much from the original text and wasn't interested. But it is actually hooking me in, although I'm still not reading it as closely as I would a typical Austen. But I have to admit - pretty damn fun.]]></body>
