I'm not sure that this deserved 3 stars, but I'm stickin' with it. This was a quick read told entirely in various written communications (e-mails, journal entries, etc). I enjoy knowing that it's going to be a light fluffy read going in and this didn't let me down there. What bothered me was the 'misconception' Why is this done so often? I just don't get it) and the fact that every character sounded EXACTLY the same. (Was the reiterations really necessary? I DO believe the words 'I mean' were the most commonly used in the book. By everyone. PRETTY much unnecessarily. At first, I thought it was JUST going to be a 'Kate thing'. And I would have been VERY cool with that. Would have worked for her character. But to have her friend (kinda still okay) AND Mitch reiterate in the same way too? Nope. STOPPED being okay, for me.

Still, despite my complaints, it was a frothy way to spend an afternoon and one that I definitely didn't hate. It's just not as enjoyable as, say, a Heather Wells book.
