I would have rated this book a 4 (like the previous book) due to the fact that two couples have been taken out and this story seem to focus only on Francesca and Brenna. However, I felt distracted with the first 200 pages and didn't really start to enjoy the book towards the end.



Francesca, twin of Brenna, has felt a young age that she wasn't so smart. So after being widowed at a young age she vowed she would make something for herself as well as doing it on her own. Currently working on her PHD in Physiology, she runs into a very hot CEO of a security business, Sam. The two instantly hit it off and both agree to keep their relationship completely sexually-monogamous, without any emotion. A bombshell is then dropped on both of them when Sams pre-teen daughter (which Sam never knew about) knocks on the door to surprise both Francesca and Sam. Both Francesca try to figure out their relationship while learning how to deal with this rebellious daughter.

Francesca world is turned upside down when she is realized she is pregnant. She decides to not say anything to Sam because she realizes it changes their relationship plus Sam is still adjusting to his daughter, Kelly. When Sam finds out Francesca is pregnant he feels deceived because he believes Francesca is doing the same thing that Kellys mother did to him twelve years ago by not telling him he had a child.



The story was pretty routine and I could guess everything that was going to happen from the beginning of the book. (including the pregnancy twist) Still an okay read...
