Recommended for: Fantasy lovers with a soft spot for werewolves
Read in October, 2007

The characters are fleshed out, the society of complex (she addresses the idea of women being second class in werewolf society which was very interesting to me), the bad guys are very bad, and not everything is perfect. This is a great little story and I plan to pick more up. There is a strong female lead and the story is quite a bit cleaner than the next closest story I would relate it to: Anita Blake. Your head doesn't go in circles trying to follow all the men like in the Blake series but the story has just as much... texture to it without being too complicated. The mark of a good, satisfying, lighthearted fantasy story that is just fun to read.
