One hell of a book. Took me forever to get through it - not because it's thick (although it is), but because Hulme definitely has a talent for making things real for the reader. Beautiful things. And painful things, too. So it really felt more like living a book, not reading it, if it makes any sense.

And oh her language is a killer. I will probably have to reread it sometime soon just for the sheer pleasure of going through Kere's inner dialogs.
