Hmmm... John Grisham has been one of my favorites for years, but I was disappointed in this book. The stories are well-written, that's certainly not the problem. It's just that the characters in most of the stories were...well, let's just say they weren't very nice. I had a hard time identifying with them, and so didn't really enjoy the stories much.
Still a Grisham fan, I just think his best work was quite a while ago: The Firm, The Pelican Brief, and A Time to Kill.
