    <body><![CDATA[I never really &quot;got&quot; Calvin and Hobbes. But I was obviously aware there was something to get, i.e. it wasn't a standard comic strip. Martell's book is really meant for fans more than casual observers like myself, but I still found it to be a great story. It's a bit like a Nick Broomfield documentary, where the process of creation becomes intertwined with the story being told, but much less annoying than this sounds.]]></body>
