I was so, so wrong. This book is really more of a psychological thriller than anything else, and it's about the lengths we go to in order to hold on to something or someone--and how sometimes we end up crossing lines we never meant to.

The ending of the book is...well, after I read the last line I just sat there for a while, thinking and wondering about issues the book raises (I'm afraid of spoilers, so I won't say more!)

For people who like darker reads--those that explore the place we go and the things people will do in the name of "love"--this is a must read. And the ending---oh, the ending! It is gorgeous and perfect and cracks you right open.

Lucy Dawson's other book isn't out in the US yet, but I've ordered it from overseas because I want more of her work right away!]]>
