Read from April 10 to 14, 2010

Not exactly heavyweight reading but nonetheless an interesting tale of how Claude Mauriac, daughter of author François Mauriac, worked with the Red Cross in Berlin and met her future husband there. I felt a little exasperated at some foreshadowing of trouble ahead, which was then brushed away in the final chapter with a brief comment;
