really liked it

It took me a while to catch on to the characters and the different time periods. Time when childhood was important, time when Alzheimer's disease is almost front and center. Location and time -- separated by many years but at the seaside in a rented bungalow. The characters are well "drawn" and the geography is described in enough detail to allow me to be there, watching the story unfold. It is extremely well written and the story itself is involved enough to want to find out what happens next.
